Why did you start your business?

To provide a platform for creative artists to showcase their work in fashion shows and impact lives across the globe.

Tell me about your business:

We are a local nonprofit organization that has annual fashion shows to showcase local talent, has fundraisers throughout the year, and raises awareness for a different charity every show. We strive to provide an opportunity to individuals who have the passion to succeed and grow within their community all while tying in fashion.

Who are your customers?

Our customers tend to be primarily within the arts, fashion, or business fields. As our main goal is to provide a platform for people to grow, network, and become educated within the fashion business industry.

What did you do differently during the pandemic that kept your business alive? We learned how to pivot by sharing more resources on ways to help our local community, volunteered at more events and educated people however we could virtually.

Other Important Information:

We have no limit on who can be a part of this organization. This is a place for all kinds of people no matter their background, as we grow and work together as a family from start to finish. It is a place for people to become more of themselves, unapologetically. We support, inspire and teach one another and are committed to helping our community become more educated about the fashion industry and the needs in our area.

Don't miss the Third Annual Runway for a Cause Fashion Show, taking place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 at The L, 116 Breesport Rd. in Horseheads. This year's fundraiser benefits My Refuge House. Tickets and details are available here.
