The Southern Tier Civics Life page is a nonpartisan effort to educate and inspire civic-minded engagement and interest in the local government that makes up the Southern Tier region of New York State.

Southern Tier Life invites Southern Tier's local legislators and those running for office to share why they feel compelled to get involved, and how they are working or would like to be part of making the southern tier region of New York State an inviting and wonderful place to live, visit and enjoy.
Learn about the people who live, work, thrive and survive in the Southern Tier through their own words as they share their experiences, joys, fears and frustrations in Southern Tier Life's "Voices" essay series. The feature includes editorials from a variety of people on a variety of topics important to them and people throughout the region.
The views in these editorials are the sole expression of the author. Southern Tier Voices provides citizens of the region the opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences on a wide array of topics of interest and/or concern to them.
