Feb. 1 deadline for nonprofit arts program grant opportunity approaches

The New York Council of Nonprofits (NYCON) is jointly administering the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) Stabilization Program for Small Arts Organizations, funded by the New York State Council on the Arts. New York State-based arts and cultural nonprofits selected for the program will participate in organizational assessment and tailored consulting services, and upon completion will be able to receive a related grant of up to $10,000. Eligible applicants must:

  1. Have 501c3 status or be fiscally sponsored by a 501c3,

  2. Have a current annual operating budget under $1,000,000,

  3. Be based outside of New York City. Rural and BIPOC-led (Black/Indigenous/People of Color) community-based organizations are strongly encouraged to apply.

NYCON is administering the program for nonprofits based in the Central New York, Western New York, Southern Tier, and Finger Lakes regions (the New York Foundation for the Arts is covering other portions of the state).

The final application deadline is Feb. 1, 2024. Learn more here about the program, which includes resources to strengthen your application.
